Anand Mahindra has announced a great offer for Agniveer:
Amidst the ongoing agitation and violent protests against
the Agnipath scheme in India, Mahindra & Mahindra CEO Anand Mahindra has
made a big announcement for Agniveer. Let us tell you that for a few days, the
youth group has been expressing its opposition to this scheme in a big way. A
lot of damage is also being done to the property of the country in this
protest.
Expressing grief over this violent demonstration, on 20th
June, Anand Mahindra made a tweet, in which he wrote, I am saddened by the
violence over the Agnipath scheme. When the scheme was considered last year, I
had said that the discipline and skill acquired by the Agniveers would make
them primarily employable. Mahindra group will give chance to Agniveer in their
company.
On this, while asking a counter-question, a person asked
which position would be given to the Agniveer. Responding the Mahindra Group
chairmen Anand Mahindra said, “There is immense employment potential for Agniveers in the corporate sector. Broadly speaking, Mahindra talked about giving
work to Agniveers in the Mahindra Group. Also told that there are immense
possibilities to work in the corporate sector".
There are a variety of jobs in the corporate sector,
covering the entire spectrum from operations to administration and supply chain
management. Let us tell you that there is a protest going on in many states
against the Agnipath scheme of the army. Due to this many organizations called
for Bharat Band on 20th June. Because of this, Railways has put RPF and GRP on
alert mode. Along with this, orders were also given to register a case against
the miscreants under serious sections.

which there have been so many violation protests. The Agnipath scheme is a
short-term unit recruitment scheme for the armed forces, under which the youths
to be recruited will be called Agniveer. Agniveer can be deployed anywhere,
desert, mountain, land, sea, or air. In this new scheme, soldiers below the
rank of the officer will be recruited.
Under this scheme, recruitment will be done twice a year
through a rally. To become Agniveer, the age must be between 17 years to 23
years. Apart from this, it is also necessary to have at least a 10th pass for
Agniveer. Now the question arises that why the scheme which the government is
finding strong, is not understood by the youth of the country. Why are violent
demonstrations going on in the country in the name of this scheme? The property
of the country is being damaged.
If we look at the problems, then the first problem is why the service which is usually 10 to 12 years old is only four years old. The second problem is what will happen to those young Agniveers when they retire after four years. However, the government says that apart from paramilitary forces, priority will be given to Agniveers in the jobs of the states. Along with the Union Home Ministry, many states have also announced the jobs.
But the youth say on this that it will be like that after
working for four years, again get in line for some other job. This is also
true, but like Mahindra, if other big business groups of the country also
consider giving jobs to Agniveers, then perhaps this problem can be solved.
