What a big mistake Amazon has made?

Nowadays the trend of online shopping is increasing very fast, and now people order products and make purchases sitting at home, but sometimes the delivered products get out to be bad. Many complaints are heard about them. Customers have to face problems. You must have also faced a such problem at some point or the other.

When the goods you ordered are not found correct and then there is a process to return the money or there is a process to return the goods. All this takes a lot of time, but the stuff that you need on time is not fulfilled. Something similar happened this time with not one or two but more than 2000 products ordered from Amazon.

That is, all those products turned out to be useless, for which Amazon also had to bear the brunt. Let's know which are those products and how heavy was Amazon's mistake. 2265 pressure cookers of poor quality were sold from Amazon's platform. A total fee of ₹6, 14,825 was raised through the sale of Amazon in Pressure Cooker. Amazon earns sales commission fees from the sale of these pressure cookers.

In that sense, when Amazon is earning money from the sale of every product, then Amazon should also be responsible for the flaws in those products. The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) imposed a fine on foreign commerce companies Amazon for delivering bad products on this issue.

Amazon was fined ₹ 1 lakh for selling defective products from its platform. Although this fine may not sound like a big deal, in addition to this fine, the CCPA ordered that Amazon must inform all customers of 2265 pressure cookers that those products are defective. Also, defective products will be recalled and buyers will have to refund the money.

Amazon has also been asked to submit a report on this matter within 45 days. According to the CCPA, allowing the sale of poor-quality products without Quality Control Order (QCO) is a violation of consumer rights. For this reason, a fine of ₹ 1 lakh has been imposed on Amazon. However, for a big company like Amazon, a fine of ₹ 1 lakh is not a big amount.

But it is the responsibility of big platforms like Amazon that they should not sell such bad products. Let us tell you that one such incident was also heard of Paytm Mall recently. Even then, the CCPA had issued an order to fine Paytm Mall and withdraw the product. Similar pressure cookers were also being sold on Paytm Mall.

How is Flipkart stuck in selling the cooker?

We told you news related to Amazon, in which 2265 pressure cookers of poor quality were sold from Amazon's platform. Due to this Amazon was also fined ₹ 1 lakh by the CCPA i.e. Central Consumer Protection Authority. You must be thinking that when the news has already been told then why are you raising this issue again?

Once again a case like Amazon has come to the fore, but this time the platform has changed. This time this work has been done from the platform of Flipkart. In the trend of online shopping, the work of cheating people has also started. It is easy to order products from these companies sitting at home, but is it safe too? Because often complaints are heard in the product being delivered.

Customers continue to suffer and companies printed the note. Let's return to the news. According to the information, 598 pressure cookers of poor quality were sold even from the platform of Flipkart. Flipkart earned a total of ₹ 1,84,263 through the sale of these pressure cookers. If seen from that perspective, Flipkart is also earning from the sale of every product, so Flipkart should also be responsible for the flaws in these products.

Regardless of the company that made it. Well, Flipkart did not pay attention to the issue, but for delivering a bad product, the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) took action against the big commerce company and imposed a fine. The penalty is the same as that imposed on Amazon. This Means Flipkart was also fined ₹ 1 lakh for selling bad products from its platform.

Further, in the order, CCPA has asked Flipkart to recall 598 pressure cookers. Also, customers have been written to return the money. Apart from this, like Amazon, in this case, too, CCPA has also asked Flipkart to submit the report within 45 days. According to the CCPA, allowing the sale of a poor-quality product without a quality control order (QCO) is a violation of consumer rights.

For the same reason, Amazon was also fined 1 lakh and now Flipkart has also been fined the same. Although Flipkart or Amazon, the fine of 1 lakh for these big companies is not a big amount. But it is the responsibility of their big platform that they should not sell such bad products.

Let us tell you that the government has issued quality control orders for pressure cookers, which contain the standards which are required to be used to protect the consumers from the risk of injury and damage. Domestic pressure cookers are required to be made according to IS 2347:2017 standard, but some companies feel that. Do not consider these things necessary.

Due to this companies like Flipkart and Amazon also have to bear the brunt. Let us tell you, a similar incident has happened with Paytm Mall as well. Even then, the CCPA had issued an order to fine Paytm Mall and withdraw the product. Similar pressure cookers were being sold on Paytm Mall as well.

We hope you like the article. You should take care and do online shopping, but with caution because it is very important to have a pressure cooker right because it also causes accidents. Hope the information will be useful to you.
