Juice Jacking Attack - A new way to steal your data:

Now understand the juice jacking attack in detail. This is a kind of cyber or rather virus attack element. It is used in public places such as airports, railway stations, bus stands, or malls. There are public charging stations available. Now the question must have arisen in your mind how can someone steal your data through a USB cable? 

Whenever you connect your phone to a USB cable for charging, it is often mounted as an external drive. Through the USB cable, you can also access and download files and all these on the mobile, because the USB port does not have a power socket but it is also a data channel. Hackers take advantage of this feature. 

Whenever a user puts his mobile phone for charging in any public space, then the virus also enters that device through the charging port. As soon as the virus enters a charging device, it installs malware on that device. This malware is also called a crawler program. Once the malware is installed on the device, the hacker gets access to your device. Now your data is no longer personal. 

This malware steals all your data and makes you a pauper. All the institutions have become alert from the Government of India regarding this fraud. State Bank of India has warned all its customers against the juice jacking attack. The Odisha Police has also prohibited people from charging any personal device in a public place through its Twitter handle. Realizing this situation, RBI has also issued an advisory regarding the juice jacking attack. 

So now you should also be alert because one mistake of yours can cost you a lot. It is not that juice jacking fraud can happen only with mobile.
