Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation released a report on the progress made towards SDG i.e. Sustainable Development regarding India's development journey. The report outlines efforts to address poverty and hunger, achieve economic growth, ensure universal access to clean water and toilets, and more.

The report shows that the current situation in the world on these issues is not good and the world moving towards these goals has been derailed. But still, the progress and leadership shown by India are very good. The picture can change if the countries of the world learn from India. The SDG i.e. Sustainable Development Goals report mentions India's strong move in different sectors.

It has been told in the report that the vaccines were distributed around the world during the covid-19 pandemicTwo out of every 5 vaccines were made in India. Despite supply shortages during the pandemic, by early 2021, 2 billion doses of vaccines made in India were distributed within the country, while 250 million doses were exported. The world saw India's vaccine revolution during the Corona pandemic.

India has not only given its citizens the protection cover of the vaccine against the virus as soon as possible. Apart from this, the crisis stood as a savior for all the countries of the world. Bill Gates is highly influenced by India's digital revolution after the vaccine revolution. The SDG report of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation said that India's Financial Inclusion Card digital system can be a model for the whole world.

The SDG report claimed that the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana significantly increased access to banking and other financial services, especially for women. A total of 45 crore accounts opened in India, out of which more than half accounts are by women. UPI i.e. Unified Payment Interface has made possible more than 6 billion transactions every month. It's astonishing.

Not only this, due to the Aadhaar identification system and digital payment, more than 300 million people can be reached digitally during the epidemic. The impact of India's digital revolution is not just limited to account opening or transactions but has also changed the face of healthcare sector in India through digitalization.

The SDG report states that the covid digital platform, which helps to deliver and certify 2 billion doses of covid-19 vaccine, is now being expanded further. The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is also being expanded so that digital arrangements can be made from the identification of people to payments, records, storage, and communication. This will make it easier to collect patient-level data.

It will also be easier for patients to access their digital records. With the consent of the patient, and taking precautions related to privacy, health providers can share the necessary data, which will improve the situation. Bill Gates believes that the kind of decisions and works that have been done under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi can become a model for the countries of the world.
