In this area, out of about 750 million mobile users, 100 million users are using 5G smartphones, but 350 million users are still on smartphones with 3G and 4G connectivity.

 

All smartphone makers said that they will not add 4G or less speed connectivity to mobiles priced above ₹ 10,000. Airtel has started service in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur, and Varanasi. At the same time, Reliance Jio also started service in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi. Users of cities where 5G service started, complained on Twitter that 5G internet starts.
