Companies will make only 5G connectivity smartphones priced above 10,000. Department of Telecommunication and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, MP IT held a meeting with mobile operators and smartphone makers and directed them to shift to 5G service in three months.

 

This meeting with the top smartphone makers in the country lasted for more than an hour. Telecom operators including executives of companies like Samsung also reached out in the meeting. This update is being done to provide a smooth fiber network. In this area, out of about 750 million mobile users, 100 million users are using 5G smartphones, but 350 million users are still on smartphones with 3G and 4G connectivity.

 

All smartphone makers said that they will not add 4G or less speed connectivity to mobiles priced above ₹ 10,000. Airtel has started service in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur, and Varanasi. At the same time, Reliance Jio also started service in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi. Users of cities where 5G service started, complained on Twitter that 5G internet starts.


Their data was gone in seconds. It was found in 10 days that the speed of 5G internet is from 500 to 600 Mbps. Jio is giving unlimited free internet to its users. At the same time, Airtel is providing internet service for its users at 5G in the old plan itself. Both telecom companies have not yet revealed their 5G plans.
