What big work is Mukesh Ambani going to do now, which will make India's dream come true?
Mukesh Ambani has made preparations to enter another business. If all goes well, Ambani's business will have a direct impact on you and my life. So you would like to know, what is that business? Let me tell you, but before that let me remind you of one thing. Last year, business came to a standstill in the country and the world.
Because a small chip shortage paralyzed the industry around the world. You must have understood. I am talking about semiconductor chips, then the lack of this chip has made India ready to take a resolution that now there will be no shortage of this chip in the whole world because now India will make it. Then it was just a dream as it was made only by a select few countries.
But now
this dream is about to come true. You must have understood. Now Mukesh Ambani
is going to enter the semiconductor chip industry. Mukesh Ambani is the second
richest person in the country. Mukesh Ambani is slowly entering every field
which can fulfill your and my needs in future. Semiconductor chip is also one
of them. It is used from the smartphone in your hand to the plane flying in the
air.
And the
surprising thing is that not only Ambani but two big businessmen in the country
are also preparing to step into this sector together. Now if this happens, then
obviously it will have a direct impact on you. If this business has started in
the country itself then how? There is news that Reliance Industries i.e. RIL
and Shiv Nadar's HCL can enter the semiconductor industry.
Both
companies are talking about buying a 30-30% stake in ISMC analog. RIL and HCL
can invest more than 4000 crores in ISMC analog. For this, separate talks are
going on between the two companies. If this deal happens, then the employees of
Reliance and HCL will get a place in the ISMC analog. Let us tell you that ISMC
Analog is a joint venture of Mumbai's Next Orbit Ventures and Israeli tech
company Tower Semiconductor.
ISMC
Analog is preparing to build a semiconductor plant in Mysore, Karnataka. Its
plant will cost about $3 billion to build. For this, ISMC Analog had also
recently demanded a subsidy of 76000 crores from the central government. Let us
tell you that the Government of India gives a subsidy to make India the topper
in making semiconductors.
The central government has announced concessions for this So that the manufacturing of semiconductors can be encouraged so that the interest of the companies of the country will increase in it. To strengthen and give strength to this promotion, the government launched the Semicon scheme. The government introduced the Semicon scheme in December last year to boost semiconductor manufacturing.
In this, along with the center, the state governments will also give concessions. The objective of the government to introduce such a scheme is to create a better ecosystem for the semiconductor industry. On the other hand, through PLI, 18 sectors are being helped in domestic manufacturing, some of which have also achieved great success. The government wants to repeat the same thing.
Through this new scheme, the government is hoping for similar success in the semiconductor industry as well. The point to be seen here is that India is promoting this industry at a time when tensions between China and Taiwan have increased. All over the world, Taiwan is considered the hub for the semiconductor chip. The world's largest contract chip maker is Taiwan's TSMC.
Taiwan also wants to increase cooperation with India in the field of electronics and chip making. On the other hand, America is asking its companies to do contract manufacturing outside China. She wants such companies to do this work in a country like India. For example, American company Apple has increased the assembly of iPhones in India, which once used to be more in China, which has increased the demand for semiconductors in the country.
Frankly
speaking, semiconductors are gaining political prominence in the same way, as
nuclear technology was achieved in the 70s and 80s. All this means the same
thing India will be the king of semiconductors in the coming times, and perhaps
this is what is forcing many companies to come forward for manufacturing
semiconductors. Because of this, RIL is also planning to enter this business.
Reliance will have many more benefits from this.
Since Reliance currently manufactures feature phones and smartphones in
Sriperumbudur and Tirupati in partnership with Google. If the semiconductor chip
is used extensively in the phone as well, then Reliance will have a double
advantage. Let us tell you that it is not that RIL and HCL are engaged in this
race.
Shortly
before this, Anil Agarwal's Vedanta Group announced to set up of a
semiconductor plant in Gujarat in collaboration with Foxconn of Taiwan. What do
you think will India be the semiconductor chip king in the world in the future?
Mukesh Ambani's Reliance got a new achievement:
Reliance
Industries has put its flag not only in India but all over the world. Reliance
has decimated Germany's Mercedes-Benz and America's Coca-Cola giants. In which
field has Reliance won? According to Forbes' World Based Employer ranking i.e.
World's best employer ranking 2022. Reliance Industries is the largest company
in the country in terms of revenue, profit, and market value.
Also,
India's best employer to work with and Reliance is ranked 20th in the world
with 230,000 employees. It is also above American beverage maker Coca-Cola,
Japanese Auto giants Honda and Yamaha, and Saudi Aramco over Germany's Mercedes
over Indians. You will also be surprised to know that there is no Indian
company other than Reliance in the top hundred.
HDFC Bank is in the 137th position. Bajaj is ranked 173rd. Aditya Birla Group is at the 240th position, Hero MotoCorp is at the 333rd position. More companies are on the list too. South Korean giant Samsung Electronics tops the global rankings. It is followed by US giants Microsoft, IBM, Alphabet, and Apple. American companies occupy the second to 12th place.
It is followed by German automaker BMW Group at 13th place, the world's largest online retailer Amazon at 14th position, and French giant decathlon at 15th. The companies have assessed aspects such as their image, economic footprint, talent development, gender equality, and social responsibility.
