Along with this, it has also been said in the alert that it is necessary to update the Aadhaar card holders who are about to complete 10 years of enrollment.

 

Till now, the Aadhaar card holder had to pay a fee of ₹ 25 online and ₹ 50 offline for any kind of update on his card. That is, if you used to update the document by going to the Aadhaar center, then ₹ 50 was charged. If he used to get this work done through the Aadhaar portal, then you would have to pay a fee of ₹ 25. It has now been made completely free for three months.

First of all, go to Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal and click on Proceed to Update Address option. 

Log in using your Aadhaar number, registered mobile number, and OTP. Go ahead and click to update the address. Enter the same 12-digit Aadhaar number and click on Send OTP. Enter OTP and log in. Enter the new address after selecting the Update to new address option. After this, select the documents to be submitted as address proof. 

Upload the scanned copy of the address proof and click on the submit button. The aadhaar-based request will be accepted and a 14-digit update request number will be generated so that through this whole process you can update your Aadhaar card details as we have told you the whole process is free for three months.
