Some coaches of the Coromandel had fallen onto another track, which collided with the Yesvantpur Express.

This train accident happened near Bahanaga Bazar station in Balasore district, about 250 km from south Kolkata and 170 km north of Bhubaneswar, at around 07:00 pm on Friday. Due to this, there was also a huge loss to the property of the Railways. Two express trains ran aground.
