How Amazon cheated millions of its customers in the US?

Amazon company, almost everyone is aware of this name nowadays. A case of fraud has come to light through the world's largest e-commerce company. It is alleged that Amazon has cheated its customers. That too not one or two, but their number is in lakhs. What is the full news will tell you in this report?

Amazon has millions of Prime members around the world. There is a special service from Amazon for these Prime members. Fast free delivery of goods is done to them. The company is accused of defrauding millions of customers worldwide in the name of prime membership. According to a Reuters report, the US Federal Trade Commission has filed a lawsuit against Amazon.

The company is alleged to have made millions of customers worldwide members of its Prime service without their consent. Not only this, the company did not even give him the option to cancel the membership. Now let us tell you what the company has been accused of doing because of which the case has been filed.

The US Federal Trade Commission, alleges that the company intentionally defrauded millions of customers. He was made a member of Amazon Prime Service without his consent. The company used dark patterns to trick customers into rolling them over to automatically renew price subscriptions.

This means that the company has automatically turned on the auto-pay option in the account of millions of Prime subscription customers, due to which the Prime membership has been renewed without the consent of the customers. It means to say that like EMI Auto Pay, the money was automatically deducted from the customer's account.

When complaints about this started, the company came under attack. Talking about Amazon Prime Membership, different fees are charged to customers for this. In place of this fast free delivery of goods is done to the members. Also, Amazon gives various discounts and many benefits to Prime members. This whole case of cheating by Amazon has happened in America

A case was registered against the same company. The US Federal Trade Commission has filed a lawsuit against the company in federal court in Seattle. The annual fee for Prime members in the US is $139. In India, the annual fee for Prime membership is ₹1,500, while the monthly charge is ₹200.

As of now, no such case has come to the fore in India regarding Amazon. If you are also an Amazon Prime member, then you can check your options. Let it happen that money is automatically deducted from your account in India like America. Overall, there is nothing to worry about in India right now.

Now People will be able to exchange their notes at home through Amazon:

Last month, the Reserve Bank of India made a big announcement and there was panic in the whole country. On May 19, the RBI issued a notification asking people to either deposit the ₹ 2,000 notes they had with them in banks or exchange them.

The Reserve Bank has given time till September 30 to exchange or deposit ₹ 2,000 notes and this has once again created restlessness in the whole country as to what to do with the ₹ 2,000 notes now. Although the Reserve Bank had said that two thousand notes have not been discontinued, they can be used for transactions like before.

But there was a rush among the people to exchange and deposit these notes as soon as possible. People have to go around banks or shops for this. But now Amazon has given such a facility to the people, through which people will be able to exchange their notes while sitting at home.

Amazon introduced a solution, under which people who have ₹ 2,000 notes will be able to exchange their notes sitting at home and add this money to their Amazon Pay Cash. Amazon has named it the Cash Load System on Amazon. Through this, people will get a chance to deposit ₹2,000 notes at home.

Through the Cash Load System on Amazon, you can add up to ₹50,000 to your Amazon Pay balance every month. With this money, you can scan and pay at online shopping. You can shop on Amazon. Not only this, but you can also transfer this balance to your bank account or give it to family or friends.

Now let's talk about how this whole scheme works. For this, you have to place an order to buy something of your choice. Check whether the order is eligible for cash load or not. Cash on Delivery option will be selected during checkout. This gives you the convenience of paying in cash when the goods arrive at your doorstep.

Now when the Delivery Associate comes, he has to be told that you want to deposit cash in your Amazon Pay balance. Give this cash along with your two thousand note to the associate. He will verify the amount and process the deposit. The Delivery Associate will instantly credit your given cash to your Amazon Pay balance.

Once the transaction is complete, you can check your Amazon Pay balance to see if your deposited money has been deposited in it or not. You can check your balance on Amazon's website or mobile app. RBI is slowly phasing out ₹ 2,000 notes from circulation. Withdrawal of ₹2,000 currency seems to be of great benefit to the economy and the banks.

A report by the country's largest bank SBI said that the decision to ban ₹ 2,000 notes has resulted in a consumption boost of ₹55,000 crore in the country. People have made real estate, gold, and other big purchases instead of ₹2000 notes. Also, huge deposits with banks have come in place of these notes. All information is for educational and informational use only. How did you like the information, tell by commenting.
